Digital Marketing Strategist – Cynopsis Media

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

EarthX is searching for a passionate, creative, energetic, digitally saavy member to join our growing team.The Digital Marketing Strategist works within the Marketing & Communication department. Overseen by the Director of Marketing & Communications and the Marketing Manager, this role is responsible executing strategic direction and content for website, mobile app and deploying email campaigns with a strong interest in driving growth. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for saving the environment, pop culture and isn’t afraid to think big! We need the qualified candidates to take initiative, ownership and accountability on applying current skills and possess a huge appetite to learn more.

Website

  • Expertise in editing website in WordPress quickly and efficiently 
  • Ability to create compelling content creation for the website(s)
  • Assist with digital advertising planning and provide assets
  • Assist with coordination of website development
  • Own and regularly update detailed project calendars, timelines, status documents and release schedules and other deliverables working with internal and external teams to gather and communicate information
  • Collaborate with creative services, PR, development, programming and other cross-functional teams to ensure strategic objectives and communicated and executed for all projects, series and events

External Email Communications

  • Manage email distribution lists and ability to segment and promote to intended targeted audiences
  • Email Creation and Distribution | Weekly EarthxTV, promotional, EDU, Membership, EarthX Film Festival, etc. emails
  • Content creation (e-blasts, e-newsletters, layout creation, copywriting, etc.)

 

 

Digital Asset Coordination

  • Management of video and photo assets from EarthX, EarthxTV and other events in organized, easily accessed system
  • Assist with digital advertising planning, provide assets and nimble enough to change course when needed.
  • Own and regularly update detailed project calendars, timelines, status documents and release schedules and other deliverables working with internal and external teams to gather and communicate information
  • Collaborate with creative services, PR, development, programming and other cross-functional teams to ensure strategic objectives and communicated and executed for all projects, series and events

Events – Support Marketing Team

  • Prepare digital marketing assets for EarthX events
  • Team(s) support for external events

Mobile Application

  • Coordination of app development, updates and issues
  • Manage the development of assets & content

Market & Community Research

  • Survey creation
  • Create digital marketing analytics reports and be able to present to the wider team(s)
