Hyundai Creta is the best-selling mid-budget SUV in the Indian market. Also, it is the best-selling product of Hyundai in the country. The company sells over 10,000 units of Creta every month in India. The second generation of this SUV is currently on sale in India and was launched in March 2020. Now the company is preparing to launch its facelift version very soon. According to leaks and reports, the new Hyundai Creta 2023 facelift will debut in India in mid-2023 i.e. June 2023. Also, prices can be announced along with the debut.
Hyundai Creta 2023 Facelift Features, Price and Safety
The upcoming facelift will be safer than the current version of the SUV. Recently the facelift model has received a 5-star safety rating in ASEAN NCAP. However, the Creta that got this 5-star rating was the Indonesian model. But according to leaks and rumours, the same facelift model is expected to debut in India as well. Its biggest rival Kia Seltos now comes with safety features like 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, TPMS, all-wheel disc brake, ESC, HAC, VSM and BA. Now it has to be seen whether the new facelifted model will also come with these safety features from the base variant itself or not.
Updated Front and Rear Design
The new Facelift will have updated front and rear looks. Now it will look very much inspired by next-gen Tucson. At the front, it will now feature a parametric grille merging well with the new LED DRLs. New Rectangular Headlamps placed slightly lower on the bumper also feature separate units for low and high beams along with the indicator. However, the facelift is likely to see no change in terms of side profile except for a likely new set of alloy wheels. The rear will see some minor changes in the boot lid design and redesigned LED tail lamps.
Creta 2023 Interior and Features
The new 2023 facelift model is likely to get a new all-digital instrument cluster, which we have already seen in Alcazar. This new cluster will only come in the top-end trims. While the lower variants will come with the same analogue unit with a MID. Apart from this, no major changes are expected in the interiors of the facelifted model. It will come with a 10.25-inch infotainment unit with a new interface and some advanced features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. New features could include a 360-degree parking camera, ADAS including autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist and blind spot monitoring system.
