Jio has announced new postpaid plans for its broadband service, JioFiber. This is the first time that the company has announced quarterly plans (three months). Another change is that the new plans announced offer 100 as base speed. The base speed offered in annual and half-yearly plans is 30mbps. The cheapest new plan starts at Rs 2,097, while the most-affordable semi-annual and annual plans start at Rs 2394 and Rs 4,788.
JioFiber Rs 2,097 quarterly postpaid plan: Offers 100mbps speed
The entry-level plan is priced at Rs 2,097. It is quite similar to the monthly plan of Rs 699 which offers unlimited data at 100mbps speed along with unlimited calling to any network. The plan does not include additional benefits like OTT and music streaming subscriptions.
JioFiber Rs 2,997 quarterly postpaid plan: Offers 150mbps speed
This Rs 2,997 plan primarily translates into Rs 999 per month and offers unlimited data and calling at the speed 150mbps. It also includes subscriptions to around 13 OTT and music streaming services.
JioFiber Rs 4,497 quarterly postpaid plan: Offers 300mbps speed
This is similar to the Rs 1,499 monthly plan. The plan offers 300mbps speed with unlimited data and calling. Along with that it comes with complimentary subscriptions for 15 OTT platforms and other services.
JioFiber Rs 7,497 quarterly postpaid plan: Offers 500mbps speed
Rs 7,497 postpaid quarterly plan comes with unlimited data and calling. It offers 500mbps speed along with access to OTT platforms. It is similar to the Rs 1,999 monthly plan.
JioFiber Rs 11,997 quarterly postpaid plan: Offers 1Gbps speed
This is one of the fastest broadband plans offered by JioFiber. It costs Rs 11,997 for three month and offers 1Gbps speed with unlimited data and calling. The plan has added benefits of complimentary OTT subscriptions.
JioFiber Rs 25,497 quarterly postpaid plan: Offers 1Gbps speed
The speed of this plan is the same as the Rs 11,997 plan, it offers additional 6600GB of data. Other benefits include unlimited calling, OTT subscriptions, etc remain as it is with the previous plan.
